Nintendo Wii v. Playstation 3 as a gift?
I need, from some serious gamers, input on which gaming system is better. I want to buy one of these systems for my boyfriend for Christmas, but he seems to not give me very much imput on which he’d rather have (since I’m trying to be sneaky about it and have been telling him I want to buy one of the systems for myself). I figured, since I’m not much of a “gamer” per se, I’d come on here and ask you guys for help. Here’s some background on what my boyfriend likes to play: Warcraft (I know it’s a PC Game, but it seems to be his absolute favorite game), he also likes Final Fantasy (FF7 seems to be his favorite…he’s excited about FF13 coming out – which I think is being released to the PS3 but am not positive?)…but he likes games like that, where he can play a character and do fantasy fighting I guess? But when we were talking last night, he was saying how he liked the Wii because of movement and interaction it entails (however, he also said he’d probably only play it for 45 minutes at a time, so he doesn’t get like a sore shoulder or something)…
But basically, I’d like to get him a gaming system I think he could get alot of use out of. I’m leaning towards the PS3 (just because you can download the games, it has internet, it’s a blueray player, etc) but am not positive.
